A Week in the Life of George

My entry for the contest.

The rules were to use someone of the current UK cabinet, have them travel in time, and meet a politician from that era.

All my attempts on drawing were crap so I ended up doing a bit of silly photomanip stuff. (Of which, admittedly, some turned out better than others...)

Here is a week in the life of George Osborne, time traveller extraordinare. As you can see, he nicked the Doctor's TARDIS.

Obviously, 'a week' refers to our sense of time as a straight line, where one thing happens after another and a sense of cause and effect is applied in that order.
For George, however, time is like the famous "ball of timey-wimey stuff" and he travels from different points in time to the events portrayed here.

Monday: Spending some time with Ali in Flassan, 1994
Tuesday: Going to the Valentine Ball with Cammy in 1987
Wednesday: Taking some time off and taking Bobby for a walk with Mandy
Thursday: Standing in for Clementine and going for a ride with Churchill
Friday: Celebrating with David Steel and David Owen in 1987
Saturday: Going for a little boat trip with Paddy Ashdown sometime in the 1990s
Sunday: Relaxing with Dizzy and his friends in 1874

From this we learn that George is a very busy man and (not unlike a sailor of the old world) has a wife husband in every port of call. (Ha! Beat that, Nick Clegg.)
